Cao Wenxuan is aliterature professor and doctoral supervisor at Peking University. As one ofthe best known children's authors in China, he has won more than 40 awards.Many of his works have been translated into English, French, Japanese and SouthKorean. He is on the short list of 2016 Hans Christian Andersen Award.

About the Illustrator:

Roger Mello is a famous illustrator, writerand playwright from Brazil. He is considered hors-concours by Fundação Nacionaldo Livro Infantil e Juvenil (FNLIJ), the Brazilian Section of IBBY. Roger Mellowas recognized many times by FNLIJ and the Brazilian Book Chamber and has won 9Jabuti awards. He is the winner of the 2014 Hans Christian Andersen

Illustrator Award.
